Cookie Day!

I just love to bake and cookie are so fun!
We started out with a simple cookie collage.
Children glue how ever many cookie they would like onto cookie jar and count them.

Love this set of cookie counters colorful dots on one side and the number on the other side with a cute cookie jar.

We made M&M cookies that matched our cookie counters.
The children just loved these cookies that they made. I use the Nestle Toll House recipe minus the chocolate chips plus an extra 1/2 cup of flour and add the m&m's to the top of each cookie( dont mix them in).

We read "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Numeroff
We water colored a cookie then gave it to a mouse.
Then we drew what we would give a mouse.

We also read this fun version of Whoe Stole the Cookie From The Cookie Jar?
and played a little game of "who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?" at circle time.
I love this cookie book too! This book is great for 2 year olds, this is one of my favorites, and it is by one of my favorite children's book authors. I let all the children try come cookie dough after we read this book.
